Invoice Help!!

Hello! Newbie Here

Just had Sage Instant Account Plus installed for the new tax year and i need help!!

How do i add borders to invoices? I've tried doing this in the "edit" invoice section but i can't find what i'm looking for!? Also, can i import the invoice i used on a previous system as i designed my own and would like to carry on using it, yet again cannot find the option to import word documents!?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! :D

Hi Lisa

I have just joined the forum and see your query.

Need to ask a few queries back:

What version of Sage Instant Accounts Plus?

Do you want to add a border to the whole invoice - as in around the whole of the A4 sheet? (if so can't be done, you can however create boxes around sections.)

Can't import Word documents into Sage - Sage uses its own Report Designer and generally you can mimic what you had previously with certain constraints.

The version i have is 12!

I did ideally want to add a border round the entire invoice but now you've said this is not an option boxes will have to do!

You can do a more complex layout including a box around the whole thing by using a third party product.

It allows you to create a template which is then overlayed. The template can be made using anything, you just need to be able to print it.

The product is called fineprint http://www.fineprint.com/ it is not expensive and very useful.
