New Windows User Getting Access denied message

I have created a new windows user but when they try to access sage they can see the companies but get an access denied message when trying to open the files.
The original user can still run sage on the PC not problem.

This is a windows xp client viewing a networked line50 (v10) on a windows server 2003. The new user has full privileges on the line50 directory on the server (check with a dummy file creation).

Is there something I am missing, no nothing about sage so any hlep appreciated.

This kept happening to me and it never got sorted out at my previous job. If you have an IT support company or have one in house I suggest you get them involved as I reckon you may find it hard to sort out on a forum.

Sorry I can't be of any help

Do they have full access right to the local machine?

does the message come up quickly or does it wait an age first?

They have admin access on the pc and full control of the server directory.
The message comes up instantly when I select a company file.

Is this specific to just one workstation?

Might be worth looking with filemon to see what file cannot be accessed.

Or is that a sage access message you have?

Just opne workstation and one user, if I switch to the original user on the workstation they can use it ok, it is only with the new one.
Will give filemon a try

I have seen some things like files created in "all users" that are not accessible to all users, but only the user who created them. But you say you have full access rights on the entire local PC.

Could be crypto keys, although normally sage hangs for ages before coming up with an error.
