Hi there, i have bit the bullet and upgraded from V5 to V12 due to printer problems not setting the margins right on my statements. Ive installed the V12 version and all went well with my desktop pc. It even asked if i wanted to convert data from previous install which it did. Checked it out and all was ok. I normally do my accounts on my laptop so plugged in my uSB drive backup and restored. Its now saying when i start it it has found a previous version and will convert data. When i click yes or no i get the error unable to access the company. Ive installed V12 on my laptop and it didnt even work. My desktop is running xp and the laptop is the dreaded vista! Any ideas? All i want to do is print statements on a modern printer!

Hi there, If anyone else is having this problem ive now found the answer. You have to back up the existing accounts install then remove it complete. Then install the upgrade as it was trying to convert the old data. Once its up and running restore and hey presto! Just hope it works on the laptop as well as the desktop.
