Extend Financial Year

Hi I need to extend my Financial year it normally runs from end of Jan to first of Feb , but I have extended my year end to the 31 st March but thereafter will run for 12 mths. how can I do this ? I am using version 10.02

Settings>Financial Year>Change

You need to read the background to changing the financial year, effectively, your first 2 months will be "lost" and become part of the B/F figures.
