Unable to amend descriptions on ver 13

We are currently running sage line 50 ver 13. Unable to go into invoices and amend edit description on posted invoices. This could be done on previous version. Very handy if the customer required more info on it before paying, saved having to raise credit and post fresh one. Anybody know where to amend setting so posted invoice descriptions can be ammended.
