Sorry if i have put this is in the wrong place

I use Sage Instants V12 and have to create a disk at year end for my accountant. When we tried this last year it would not open on her computer. I have two machine so thought i would try and make a copy to use on the other machine. Backup automatically saves it as a .bk file but sage does not like that extension and states that it cannot open it?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I expect your accountant is looking for a backup file made using the sage backup option not MS Backup.

I am sure she is but how do i get it to do this?
