sage wont open
sage wont open
I have moved over from pc to mac and am trying to install sage line 50 v12 on my new machine. In order to run windows on mac I have used Parallels software . With windows XP Home sp2 when trying to open the newly installed Sage I get an error message which says, Error accessing the file on E:\. The system cannot find the path specified. The property tab on the shortcut tells me the file is located on C:\sage\accounts. Any Ideas? javascript:emoticon('
')

I guess you copied the files rather than installing.
Guessing E: is where your data was located on the old pc
edit the file "company" in the sage install directory (c:program files\sage\accounts) and change the path to wherever you have now put the data.
---------
Next time just install the products and then restore a backup
