Editing transactions - CIS 6000 nominal

Post by billswan » 11 Feb 2023, 18:55

Hi All

I cant see why...lol

I was able to edit a 6000 nominal transaction but cannot other 6000 nominal transactions?

We have decided to use the Departments option and need to update prior relevant transactions.

The attached shows the first nominal 6000 ( 1 ) ( we use the CIS addon ) amended from 0 to Department 2 but we cant edit / update the others?

We use projects and was hoping to filter transactions by project, some have 400 + transactions, export to excel update department a re-import but audit trail I do not believe will allow to import the changes as import template does not have transaction number column to update entry.

As can be seen on Sage2 attachment I was able to edit department on both transactions but on original sage attachment I could only update the first one?

Frustrating..

Bill

I have just realised, the nominal 6000 entries I can edit have not been submitted to HMRC yet ( CIS ).

I appreciate I cant edit amounts as they have been submitted to HMRC but surely information fields should be able to edit.
