Yes it is possible.
Default Customer and supplier layouts below

Audit Trail for invoices/credits etc
http://import.makingithappen.co.uk/csv_audittrans.htm
You do not need to use these defaults as Sage now allows you to match fields manually during import.
If you want to import whilst people are logged in or do it programmatically there are 3rd party tools to do that.
If you want to import invoices to the Invoicing module, you will need a 3rd party program such as IP+ which I sell.
