HI I'm very new to sage but cannot work out how to create a price list - this may sound very basic but it's all i want to do to start with. We run a small wine business so each customer has a different wine list, am i a able to create many different lists so that when the order comes through i am able to just select the quantity orderedof each wine especially if it is in numbered order as you may find on a restaurant wine list as many just order by number then produce the invoice - and finally is it easy to apply special prices or across the board a single discount. I would be really appreciative of some guidance as our manager here uses a dos system that i do not understand and just want to figure out this new one and get it running - cheers

In sage all customers can purchase all products, there is no cutting the list down.

Price lists allow you to have different prices for products. They are a method of discounting differently for each group of customers.

...

What you might do is create a template order/invoice with all the customers products on.

....

Why don't you want to use sage it in it's normal form, ie enter customer number product code, qty, product code qty...save
