Error message when either clicking on "Company" in the main short cuts in the opening page or "Nominal Ledger" from MODULES menu.

Buffer overrun detected!

A buffer underrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated

Sage will not close unless I shutdown the computer or "End Task" the application.

This is very frustrating as I rely on keeping track of the finances.
I have rebuilt the data, run several checks on the data, and tried the data on another Line50 installation. Nothing works.

I have created a new company and this works fine, but I don't have any data..... i.e. do I really need to re-enter all the data?

I have managed to import the Customers, but all invoices and bank transactions seem to be un-available for import.

I do not make matters better that I am an IT professional and spend most my day fixing problems like this for others... (Just not on Sage)

I would be prepared to send the files away for repaired if that is possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you updated to the latest builds?

Can you give be the full version.build number
