There are now a number of companies offering ways to submit VAT returns when Making Tax Digital happens that work around accounting software issues and allow users with non compliant software to submit returns.

Hi Bruce,
I used the www.chm-software.co.uk software for the first time last week.
It is simple bridging software to allow non-compliant software (in my case an older, stand-alone version of Sage 50) to submit compliant VAT returns.
I was expecting it to be a nightmare, but it was remarkably easy to work with.
And only £7.50 per submission, rather than a continuous subscription
I would definately recommend it.
Thank you, as always, for all your assistance.
