Sales Orders and completing

For some reason the powers that be in Sage have decided to us Sage 50 as a name for lots of different accounting systems and this has led to a lot of confusion.

The UK version is sold in UK Eire, Malta, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

It does get used in other parts of the world (eg China France) but it is not actively marketed.

This forum is for questions relating to the non UK versions.

Sales Orders and completing

Post by atlanticja » 22 Oct 2018, 10:14

Good morning All,

I wonder if someone would be kind enough to help.

I have just started to use sage as a stock system and have run in to a couple of issues. We are a parts distributor across the uk.

We create a sales order in the office.

The warehouse picks it up and picks it.

very rare we are out of stock of any items as the shortfall system allows us to order well in advance.

Stock is picked and the warehouse guys allocate the stock. Then they dispatch it.

The sales order shows as complete.

Now my issue. I dont want to show complete items on my sales order screen...

option 1 I delete the sales order...(not sure if this affects the stock already moved)

option 2 I add a filter so I cant see them - I cant figure out how to do it.

Help

I think you may have incorrectly signed up, are you really using the US version you say you are in the UK.
