Send to Excel - only partial products are copied to excel

I have been trying to send the products in products module to excel, but it only sends partial products to excel. (there are more than 20,000 products but only 7000 products are extracted). Please help with this issue. This problem occurred after trying to install a client and map to the server. Client also stopped half way through installation.
Using sage 2007 UK
