SageForum for UK versions of Sage 50- Help and support.

I have Sage database moved from windows 200 to windows 2003 server.
Upgraded all computers to 1 GB ram. Operating system on the computers is windows XP.
Every software is working fine except sage.

Users are getting error:

{Delayed Write Failed}
Windows was unable to save all the data for the file x.
The data has been lost.
This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.
Then they are getting error in sage and record on which they were working is lost. then they cant work in sage any more.
They have to restart sage.
Sometimes is working fine even 2 days.

Data folder is on the server.
All users has permissions - full access.
Did upgrade to sage line 50 V6

They are using other accounting software and it is no problem at all with other staff.[/b]

Upgrade to V6!!! That is really old.

The problem is with the file share not with Sage.

I suggest you contact Microsoft to resolve your problem.

(Linux is a better server for simple file shares)
