I need to run several reports giving me total sales value to various groups of countries (e..g USA/Canada; UK; Rest of world).

Can anyone tell me how I should go about this - I can' find any ready-made reports that have the country as a search criteria.

How have you separated your data into different groups of countries?

Have you got separate nominal codes for each region?

Are you thinking of using the address information on customer accounts and extracting this from the sales ledger?
