Slow to logon Screen - Processing Please Wait

Hi All

Line 50 v22, data files running on 2012 R2 server with Sage Accounts Service and Control services's running.

Clients are Windows 10, all updates done etc.

Launching Sage get a popup saying "Processing - please wait" and a process/progres bar, pops up then disappears, then pops up again, can be upto five mins before the login popup appears.

IPv6 is disabled on server and clients.

Ping works on both net-bios and IP address both ways.

Data map is a hidden share but have to other companies with the same setup and no issues.

Delay is not constant, usually no issues at all but get one day a week (never the same day) where clients just take ages to login in

Any advice or things to look for much appreciated

Tony

Are you using mapped drives?

Why is IP6 disabled?

Yes drives are mapped but are hidden shares.

Everything I've read about Sage being slow says to disable IP6v

You want to use UNC paths.

I would try not hiding them.
