Can't post credit notes

Post by PipBell » 09 Jun 2016, 12:17

Hi we seem to have lost the icon to batch post credit notes in the Supplier module. I have emailed Sage who told me to log on as Manager and check Access Rights in Settings but we are single user so don't have an option for Access Rights in Settings. I recently took over the accounts but see from transaction details that we have obviously posted supplier credit notes in the past. (how could we not?) but can't now find any way to post. Any ideas?

I have now managed to set up Access Rights in settings but I can't set up as Manager (presumably because we are already set up as Manager) I have set up a new user with full access but am loathe to log out and try to log in again in case I lock myself out of the whole package. Any help would be appreciated.

Manager doesn't (shouldn't) exist as a user, because the manager account is the superuser and has full access to everything and can not have less.

You can change the password on the manager account, if you loose that password then it is a pain as you have to contact sage and get them to recover it for you.

Just create additional users as you need them, there is no limit to how many users you can set up and use the user accounts for day to day use, Manager is only for setting things up.

Managed to set up a new user and gave them full access rights but still no facility for posting credit notes. Feeling a bit stymied now. Have resent help request and screenshot of task pane to Sage so hopefully will get some help next week.

Sounds like and installation problem, you might like to try going into the demo data and seeing if you can access it in there.
