Sage 50 Crashes/Closes when entering Company Preferences

Hi,
I'm running Sage 50 Accounts Pro (Subscription) v22.0.10.368.
I have an issue where, only in a specific company file, when I try to access Settings > Company Preferences, I'm prompted for password, which when entered causes the program to close. It doesn't matter who is logged in, or which user I'm attempting this from.
to be clear , attempting the same, on the same installation, but from a different company file does not present an issue.
Likely related, I've noticed when I attempt to use the SagePay 'Download Receipts' function in bank, when clicking on 'Download Now' the program closes too.
The entry level sage support team have tried a number of steps, including clean reinstall without success.
Anybody came across this issue before or have any suggestions on how to resolve?
