"To Excel" Command Button not working

Hi. One of our PCs with Sage 50 Accounts 2014 on it had an issue with Excel shortcuts not opening. So, I upgraded it to the latest version of Office 365 (2016) only to find that our version of Sage was not compatible with this version of Office. As a result, I uninstalled Office 2016 and reinstalled Office 2013. I then ensured that Excel had the correct Addins installed.
Now, the problem is that before changing the version of Office, the accountant was able to use to "To Excel" command button at the bottom of the screen. After the changes, however, she cannot - it comes up with an error message "Cannot connect to Excel". It is possible to export reports from Sage to Excel via the "Reports" button on the bar at the top. It is also possible to import Sage reports into Excel via the Sage menu. How can we get the "To Excel" button working? I have tried various things, including uninstalling Sage completely and removing all of the folders (after backing up of course!) and then reinstalling.
Thanks

Uninstall Sage and then reinstall.
