Setting up a budget

Hi all,
Our financial year end is 30th June. We have sent all the stuff to our auditors to prepare the financial statements and they should be ready by the end of this month.
In the meantime we wanted to set up the budgets on Sage but this cannot be done until the year end process is done. Is there any way around to enter the budgets for current year and then to produce the reports? would you also have any guide on budgets for Sage 50? (we use v2013)
