Prices on SAGE

Post by robertm » 27 Jan 2015, 13:26

We are new to SAGE 50 hoping to go live later this year. We have come across an issue where we want to have 2 prices on our system for every product for every customer; one where the customer buys a large amount and one where they buy a small amount. We cannot set up 2 products because of the stock implications and we cannot set a price list because these 2 prices apply to all customers. Any ideas?

How are you defining "a large amount" and "a small amount"

Hi there we are fabric wholesalers where we charge one price for a full roll of say 20 metres then a more expensive price if the customer wants less than 20 metres and we have to cut into a roll. Hope that is clear.

In that case you can use the price break matrix on the product record.

The price on the product record should be the standard price per metre under 20 meters

Edit the product, go to the discount Tab

Level 1 discount is applied a Qty of 20 and the discount is whatever percentage would be appropriate for the bulk price.
