Memorised Invoices Dont Update Product Change

Hi

I am trying to create memorised invoices for support contracts which are invoiced out on a monthly basis. These need to contain the to and from date in the description line. I thought the best way to do this would be to create a product called support, then memorise this for each customer. However when I make change to the product description these are not updated on the memorised invoices.

Is there a way this can be updated automatically or a better way to go about this?

We have a system for doing something very similar to this, (well a bit more complicated it handles all sorts of repeating dates for different contracts), using sales orders as templates, it could be adapted to your application.

The cost would be around £400 all up

The inexpensive alternative is to not put the to and from dates in the description.

Use text to describe the invoice as Services for the month of xxxx replace xxx with the date of the invoice formatted to print the month as a full word only.

This way the text in the invoice body could always be the same, but it only works for whole month invoicing
