Hi there - newbie to accounting and the software packages... work as a techie and I need to extract journal entries from Sage 50 UK (v20.04) , database table (AUDIT_JOURNAL) - is there a way to determine if a journal entry has been reversed ? is there a column in the AUDIT_JOURNAL that determines this ...
or is there a way to work it out by analysing the entries

Thanks in advance.

There is no easy way to tell if a journal has been reversed.

The first step would be to clarify what you mean by "reversed" Journals can be manually reversed, reversed on a future date, reversed in journal reversals and so on. The journal could be the whole journal or just one part of a journal.

I guess the question is why do you want to know/ what is the objective? as there may be another way.
