When you part deliver an order to a customer how do you stop it duplicating the delivery charge?

If we have to part delivery something stock issues etc.. we still want to only charge carriage once but it duplicates it on both deliveries, human error of not checking this is causing credit note galore, is this something in the set up?

the easy way is to create a non stock product for delivery charge and put the delivery charge on it.

The delivery charge can be shipped (and charged) on only one delivery and you can choose to charge it on the first or the last.
