Can you give a better description of the report.

Do they want invoices and credits separated or just one number per customer for the net sales
Do you want a break down by period?

there are several reports you could look at or you could write one to do the job.

Have a look at Customer Details Reports>Customer Sales (Gross) Report (12 Months) and Customer Sales (Net) Report as starting points.
