Hi, I wonder if someone can assist with a little issue I have with a new business which I am preparing to install Sage 50. The business is service based in that we provide our services to end clients of landlords. We invoice the landlords for this work but need to reference the service address. This is done by using the delivery address part of the invoice. However our problem is that we often need to search by that delivery address and I cannot see any way in which we can do this. As a note there can be many hundreds, even thousands of the delivery addresses.

What are you going to want to find from the delivery address and in what context?

There may be another way to do things...

Simply we are looking to be able to find individual invoices by delivery address.

Have you tried using Quick Search in the invoice module?

Pretty sure that would work fine.

yes but there doesn't seem access to the delivery address field, unless I am not using it correctly.

It works fine for me, just double checked it, you are using V2012 (18.1.0.20)

yes I have the same version. though I have never used quick search. I am in the customer section and have tried to use the search button at bottom of screen.

How do I use quick search?

sorry yes Ive found the quick search (its an age thing). though I still can't get this to find any data in the delivery address field.

go to the invoice list first.

Click on the search button and clear any entries and close

At the top of the screen in the quick search box, enter the postcode you are searching for...

sorted.
