JIT debugging

Hi
I am trying to design a report but I am unable to do so. If I click on 'New' oe 'Edit' nothing happens.
When I select a standard report and right click and choose 'edit' I get a box telling me that an 'unhandled execption has occurred' If I then click on 'details' I get a hole list of stuff which ends up telling me that the report edit/design function cannot be accessed because of 'JIT debugging'
Any idea how I can fix this?
Many thanks

Check that debugging is disabled in IE

Control Panel [or IE>Tools] > Internet Options > Advanced.
Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)
Disable script debugging (Other)

If this is a network install can you try on a different machine?

Check you are fully patched and up to date as per > > > PLEASE READ AND DO BEFORE POSTING < < <

You could try a clean reinstall

Hi Bruce

Thank you very much for your quick response.
I have done as you said and note that "Disable script debugging - Internet Explorer and Other" are both already ticked.

Best

Michael

Hi again, Bruce

Well I have checked that I have the latest software installed but I also checked on another machine and there was no problem so it must be my computer which is the problem but I really cannot understand why or what I can do to resolve except to fully re-install which seems like a big job.

Thanks anyway for your advice

Let me know if the clean reinstall doesn't fix it.
