Restore backup from v13

I,m trying to restore a backup from v13 onto my v6 version. Can't seem to find ACCDATA file but I,ve checked and its there. It won't allow me to import the data either. HELP!! 
Sage is NOT backwards compatible.
You can restore data from 6 into 13, but not the other way around (There are things in V13 that can not be converted, transaction types like Customer Payments (Refunds) did not exist in V6.
The only solution is to upgrade.
