Sage Line 50 Version 13 (2007) - multiple companies

Greetings

Up until Version 12, we could install the product from the installation CD any number of times so that we had separate companies available for different users, e.g.:

C:\Program Files\Sage\Company1
C:\Program Files\Sage\Company2
etc

With version 13, each time you fire up the installation CD, it looks to a 'previously installed data path' and invites you to Modify or Remove!

My objective is to deliver Sage Line 50 companies to users, but they must NOT be able to see any other company on the system, other than the one they work for.

Any thoughts/views/suggestions as to how I might achieve this with Version 13 are welcomed.

Multiple installs was probably a breach of the licence agreement and a waste of disk space.

Look in the installation folder you will find a file called company, this contains the path to the data, open it in notepad and you will see.

Just switch the file to one with the path to the data you want before opening sage and your problem is solved.
