Sage 2009 Data Path Issue

Post by carolinei » 02 Jan 2013, 12:42

Hi,

I did something stupid  I installed Sage 2009 on my new PC as the old PC died. I installed everything correctly, but before I updated all the drivers and software updates, I mapped it to our s:\.

When I went to open the Sage it says I have to update the drivers, it tries to install all the drivers but says it cannot updated from the s:\ ..... do I wish to proceed so I keep saying yes, yes, yes, but I cannot install it.

So I tried to find the company file to amend the data directory to point it back to the C:\ and I cannot find the company file.

I am using Windows7 and it is saved the sage into Program Files (x86) and then Sage\Accounts and from there I cannot find the company file.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5 or 6 times and it seems to remember it was pointing to my S:\ and I am totally stuck.

Please any help would be great as I am in the middle of my year end and want to cry.

Thanks

Caroline

The path in the company file needs to be the path to your sage data
