stock costed against customers

I run a cleaning company and I want to post the costs of our consumable items against our individual customers, so that I can work out how much each of my contracts are costing to service. preferably the items would come out of the stock in the products list which we are just about to implement.
to complicate the issue when we supply the consumables we also sometime supply some items which we would actually charge the customer for i.e. Toilet tissue.

Can anyone think of an easy way of doing this.

I am running sage 50 accounts 2013

I would set up each customer/contract as a project, you can then issue product to the project, put invoices against the project and see overall project profitability.

When you sell product direct to the customer outside of the contract, you would do that as a separate product sale outside the project and it would not affect things.
