Hello all, hope you can help.
I would like to delete unused customer accounts, and would like to know if they remain in the archived folder data, or just in the company data backups?.
We only keep the last week's data backups, rolling them on.
Any help gratefully received.

The archive is a separate copy of your sage data that is locked and is not changed whatever you do.
If you backup first, even if you make a mistake you can restore things.
You can not delete old customers unless their account has no transactions left on it.
You should not clear the audit trail if the period you are clearing it for might contain back dated transactions entered in this financails year.
Data will not clear if you are not up to date with bank reconciliation and vat returns.
