applying discount to an invoice

Hi

I've set up the discount sections on the invoice, whereby I can then add the percentage of discount to the invoice. However, its taking a further discount off the correct VAT amount which I do not want it to. Does anyone know how to fix this please so that it takes the discount off the product items but not the VAT

Am running Sage Instant Accounts Plus, Version 18

Sounds like you have set up a settlement discount
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.
