I was wondering if anyone can help me we are running line 50 but not sure what version, we have encounted a problem with our service invoices for customers all of a sudden last wednesday it`s picking random numbers to assign to invoices when it normaly runs one after the other, we havent knowingily changed any settings

Unlikely to be random, if you had set your next number back to an early number, it would go through using up all the missing numbers.

Ah rite thanks for that is there any way i can put it back to where it should be when it went wrong

On later versions you can lock the numbers to prevent this.

You can set the "starting" invoice number in

Settings>Invoice & Order Defaults>Options

Many thanks for you help, have reset the starting number now and has done three consecutive invoices so hopefuly that was it thanks again
