Sage 50 2011 - won't reconcile in windows 7

Hi, Ive tried it as administrator but it still won.t reconcile when the bank statement is completed. Any help greatly appreciated.

Is the opening balance on the new statement the same as the opening balance in the Sage Bank rec for that bank account?

Are you running the 64bit version of Windows 7? If so, there is a problem with the generation of PDFs (which Sage does when you reconcile) - go to
www.sage.co.uk/updates and download and install the Report Designer v1.3 Update which, if you are on the 64bit version, should solve the problem.

Well spotted John, I was thinking reconcile in a financial sense not the functional sense in Sage 50.
I would have suggested the PDF update. I didn't know that the report designer update includes the PDF update and is "two birds one stone" option.
Is there a way to tell what version of the PDF driver someone is using?

Hi, yes its windows 7 64bit. 'Ive downloaded the report designer as suggested and will see if this works. Thanks
