I'm getting errors in the stock profit reports in Sage 50.
For instance :
1. A stock item is purchased through the Purchase ordering system at a 50.00
2.Delivery is completed and stock updated
3. A sale is made at 100.00
4.The Stock profit report correctly calculates a profit of 50.00
5. The stock price actually invoiced is different to that on the P.O. so when updating the P.O. the stock
price is corrected.
6.This is reflected financially , but not in the stock record.
7. The stock profit report still calculates new sales at the old stock price.
8. Manually adjusting the stock price in the stock record has a certain affect on the profit.
a. The profit shown on an invoice raised displays correctly on the screen
b. The profit shown in the Stock profit report still displays the original cost price and incorrectly
calculates the profit.

Any ideas as how to get the stock profit report to pick up on the corrected stock cost price wouold be much appreciated.

The price on the stock transaction is the price when the transaction was made.

There is no facility to change the stock transaction retrospectively.

What we need is an error corrections module for stock transactions.
