Sage account.dat locked

Hi I have just upgraded to a five user version data storedvon a server. When we TTY o complete a function ie payment or invoice the system which ever is in use locks with the green progress bar. Tried rebooting pc and opening sage but it goes back to it's previus function and will not progress. Any ideas how to solve.

Sounds like a problems with the server not locking/unlocking files.

What version of Sage 50 are you running
What operating system are you using on the PC and on the Server
What antivirus are you using?

Have you set the Sage 50 AntiVirus exclusions?
