Hi, I have been using Sage for a long time and never had this error. I did September bank rec and it all balanced perfectly. I have just come to do October and the opening balance is way way out - £16K! I have been back into the history and the bank rec was correct as was the closing balance. When I open the bank account it even shows the correct closing balance. Any ideas???

I do not understand.

If you look at the pdf of the last reconciliation, is the closing balance at the end of that period the same as the starting balance at the beginning of this period?
