Hi Hope someone can help me here please.

Using Line 50 v10

When I try to make a journal entry the default date is 2000 and I cannot change it.
It is only happening on the journal entries, nothing else.

I have tried changing the date in settings but it just goes back to 2000 even after saving it.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is 2000 the default date for all transactions or just journals?

Does changing the program date resolve it?

Settings>Change program date>

Is this a new installation or has it just suddenly stopped working correctly?

Are you on Windows XP?

You could reset the regional setting for the date format (do this even if it is already set to dd/MM/yyyy) change the short date in regional settings to MM/dd/yyyy save and apply the change and then change it back to dd/MM/yyyy, I know it seems crazy to have to set it to the wrong thing then set it back again, but it works. four yyyy not two yy are needed.
