Hi.

I am just about to implement a new website which I would like to use a 'Bolt-on' CRM, Inventory and Invoice system for my company which deals in hire equipment. Does Sage do this as I have been led to believe it can. Allegedly it can be linked or embedded into the site to record any web-based enquiries along with manual entries.

I would appreciate any views / advice on this.

Sage can't be integrated directly into the site but there are a few options:

1. If you use SagePay as your payment gateway, the latest version of Sage 50 can integrate directly with your SagePay account and downloaded details of sales.

2. There are a number of 3rd party add on applications that will integrate your website with Sage 50.

OK. Does Sage have an inventory facility for recording stock levels for hire industries for example?

It does have a Products module that allows for Stock Control.

If you want to link the site and sage together I do a lot of work in integrating sage with websites.
