Sage 50 v2012 - won't run reports/layouts

Good Afternoon,

I've just had a helpful hour on the phone to sage support, but they've been unable to fix this problem. Any help appreciated!

I've a Windows 7 Home Professional 64bit PC - 1 week old.
I've installed Sage Line 50 Accounts v2012 on it to test speed and network-ability prior to installing it at work.
I've one error on the main PC install.
Whenever I try to run a report or print a layout, I get an error box immediately after choosing the filter options etc.
The error box says "The type initiator for 'Sage.expressions.ExpressionLibraryRegistry' threw an exception"

The software and report designer is the most recent version, we've uninstalled and reinstalled all the data, we've backed-up and restored reports from the CD ROM, nothing worked. We even went to the command prompt and rang sfc/scannow - as they think it's a Windows or .NET problem. I've run Windows Update and I have the most recent versions.

I've created a new Windows user account, tried admin privileges and also created a new sage account - nothing works.

Now I bought a second PC at the same time to test the network speed, although identical, the second PC, accessing data from the first will print and run reports quite happily!

Any ideas as to what is causing the problem on the first machine.

Version info:
18.0.12.220
SBD 2.0.0.133
Report designer 1.3.2011.25

Thanks in advance
Tim

I wouls say a .net issue

do a full Sage 50 clean reinstall, that should fix it.
