				Converting Quotes to Sales Orders

I'm using Line50 Financial Controller (v12) and looking to prepare quotations.
In spite of having "Convert Quotes to" set to Sales Orders (settings menu) any quote I set up is still marked as type "inv" and qoes straight to invoice when set as won.
Any clues anyone?

The Quote can be either an "(invoice) Quote" or a "(sales order) Quote SOP" what type of quote it is, is determined by the "Convert Quotes" setting option HOWEVER it is determined at the time when the quote is entered.
So they will eventually come out the right way...
The Quotes module was not well thought out, there are other more annoying "features" such as the inablility to turn a quote into a sales order and then a proforma and then an invoice, Proforma is just not an option if you go the Sales order path! More annoyingly it worked fine in older versions.
Under the "skin" the quotes are really just invoices and sales orders of a "type" called quote, you will notice that the quote numbers cease to be available in the sop/invoicing modules as you enter them.
