Line 50 V9.10 & Accounts 2009 on same PC?

Several years ago I was using Line 50 V9.10 along with Job Costing V8.01. I changed to Sage 50 Accounts Plus 2009 which has an integrated job costing/projects section. When I want data about old projects from Job Costing this has so far not been a problem as I still had Line 50 and Job Costing installed.
However, I have recently changed my PC and installed Plus 2009 with no problems, but I now want to get to some data from Job Costing. I installed Line 50 V9 (because Job Costing won't run without having the Line 50 database to link to) and I got a new shortcut on the desktop but this goes to my current Accounts Plus program. The installation went through the wizard normally but I checked the programs folder and the only additional files I can see are the Licence Manager files but not the actual programme.
I ignored the fact that I can't find the Line 50 programe, and installed Job Costing, which has installed normally. When I attempt to open it it wants to link to an accounts database with the name of setup.dba (which is why I installed Line 50 first). I was hoping it might be happy with the data file from Plus 2009 but I've searched my c drive for such a file and there isn't one so I assume the Plus 2009 data has a different filename.
I tried to re-install Line 50 to see if it would work if I chose a specific place to install the files, as I didn't notice where it was installing to originally, but it only gives me the options to modify, repair or remove which I don't want to do because I think it may affect the Plus 2009 files.
When Job Costing tries to open it first looks for the setup.dba and I tried using this file from the demo section of Plus 2009, it then looks for the sage.usr file which again I tried to use the one from the demo section of Plus 2009 but, weirdly, it opened with all of my current project data from Plus 2009. I then tried to restore my Job Costing backup file but it looked again for the Line 50 setup.dba file and wouldn't go any further.
So I really need to have Line 50 running properly so that Job Costing will run. I can then restore a backup of the old data onto Job Costing. Simples, right?! But how do I get it to let me install Line 50 whilst I also have Plus 2009 on the same pc?
Any thoughts?
