Hello,

I’m looking at upgrading from an old Line 50 v9 install to a slightly less old Line 50 2007 Professional, I’ve tested importing my backup data from v9 into 2007 without issue. However I’m no Sage expert and I was wondering if there are any specific issues I should be looking for before I make a permanent switch over.

If Check Data returns no errors both before and after the upgrade then you can be happy that the data itself has upgraded correctly. Do you have any bespoke reports or layouts?

You should also be aware that v2007 was, by a country mile, the most bug riddled version of Sage 50 ever released so you need to make sure that you have all the relevant updates for it installed which can be downloaded from www.sage.co.uk/updates

Its a very basic setup with nothing custom thankfully, I will be sure to get it patched up.
