Can anyone help me please?!

I want to be able to record an product as a negative value i.e -5 in stock because these items have actually been sold and we are waiting for the goods to come in...

Once the goods come in for example if we have 10 in and we are on minus 5 it will show we have only 5 left to physically sell

You'd need to switch negative stock on first - Settings -> Company Preferences -> Parameters.

You could then post an adjustment out which take the stock to the -5 level you want.
