I had the fortune of having Sage 50 Accounts being bought for me last year.

I had the misfortune of only writing down my activation key on a piece of paper.

As it happens, my laptop has seen better days and is in desperate need of a re-wipe. I've been holding it off though as I've not been able to get my activation key.

I have the serial number, name it's registered too, but that's it. I've gone through the online proceedure to try and be sent my activation key, but I'm stuck when asked to enter the postcode to which the product is registered too. I no longer have contact with the person who got me the software and so have had to guess the postcodes he'd have used, including my address, his address and his work address - all to no avail.

So right now I'm at a loss. I can keep working on this temperamental machine (where my Sage works perfectly), or I can wipe it and lose this expensive software (which is crucial to me as am studying AAT level 4 and going to Uni this sep to study Accounting and Finance).

Is there anyway I can find out the registered address?

Any help is appreciated.

As long as the software has been registered with Sage and is registered correctly for you to use, give Sage a call and they'll be able to give you the details.
