I'm currently running Sage version 12.00 and whilst restoring a client's back up disk onto my computer,Sage froze. When I restarted the Sage,it is asking me for a username and password. There was no username or password for the previous client's file that I had loaded and the new client's password and username(the one that froze) do not work-I get the message that I am entering an invalid user name.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

I suggest you erase the data and start again.

The easy way to do this is to overwrite the data in the Accdata directory with the data from the demodata directory.

You can then restore your data and have another go.

The problem may be that the backup is faulty, in which case you will need a new one from your client
