We currently have about 3500 old products we want to delete and there'll soon be another 500 to 1000 to follow, I've delete the one's with no transaction history behind them but I need to remove the transaction history for the rest of them. I know you can go to Tools > Period End > Clear Stock but that delete's the data for everything, which obviously is no good.

Is there a way to remove the transaction history for a select group of products without losing the data for all the other products?

I have a tool that can clear the stock history on products selectively.

If you wanted I could do it for you for a small fee..

What would the fee be?

I charge £52.80 per hour rounded up to the nearest tenth of an hour.

The time it takes to do is dependant on the data set size, how much time you can afford to be without sage for and so on.

I would think that even with a really large data set it wouldn't take 3 hours, I doubt even with a small data set I could do it in under half an hour.

If you want to make a data only backup of your data and let me know how big it is I can give you more of an idea.
