Networking with Windows 7

I am trying to set up a network with my Sage Accounts 2010 on Windows 7.

Both computers are using windows 7

On the main computer (called office-pc), i have made the C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts able to share, i can see this file on my second computer, and can access it.

When i am setting up sage on my second computer, i come to "Sage Accounts - company set - up" i have three options to choose from..

-Set up new company
- Use a company already set-up in another installation
-Restore data from a back up file

I choose the second option, use a company already set-up in another installation.

I select option, and search on my network from the sage files from the main computer (office-pc)

\\office-pc\sage\accounts

And select that, an error message comes up:
The path you have selected does not contain sage data.

Is this the correct place i am looking for my sage data on my computer? Or is it possible it may be saved else where?

Thanks

I am pretty sure your data will be located in a folder similarly as below:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sage\Accounts\2008Instant\company.000

This is where my company data resides.

The location of the data "varies" With windows 7 it is not a good idea to have it in the program files folder as this can cause access rights issues.
